I am eager for Warhammer, as is my wife, as is my guild. We currently play DAoC...for RvR Tried the 10 or 14 day free trial of WoW, that was enough for me. Anyways, your site is nice and I have read post here for awhile and you seem like great folks, so I finally registered.

Hi I'm Sammet. I'm 23 and a student in England. I've preordered the collectors edition of WAR (from play.com) and am eagerly anticipating it's release. Having played DAoC for quite a few years I haven't managed to find anything that I liked after I lost interest (somewhere around 2004), until now. I tried WoW, SWG, LotR etc and none could recapture the fun I had RvRing in DAoC. As a kid I was into warhammer 40k and warhammer and this combined with mythic in the mix has got me hooked already. I'm looking to get involved in the community and to find a mature guild with semi-serious gamers as I think this game is going to be excellent and well worth my time.

I found this site from the main WAR site, and it attracted me to sign up as it looked as if it's updated more regularly than others around the web. I've had a listen to the podcasts and had a general read around and hope I can add to this community. See you all around.

Welcome Sammet. From what I can tell so far WAR will give you that feel of RvR in DAoC pretty well and if you are an old time 40k and Fantasy fan you might get best of 2 worlds.

I am known to everyone as Tonzin, unless you are in my guild in which case we go on first name basis, I have been playing MMOs since about 2002 or so. FFXI, WoW, EQ2, Guild Wars, Matrix Online, City of Heros, and a few other not so big titles. I like the concept of PvP but not very many MMOs have ever delivered good PvP systems or balance. The best PvP I've experienced so far as come from Guild Wars but the game was far too short when it originally came and it bored me with it's level 20 cap. Hopefully WAR will finally allow me to break off from WoW and be happy with MMOs again.

Welcome. Mythic has decent experience at RvR and hopfully you will thouroghly enjoy PvP thier style. i fell in love with it in DAoC.

Hey Guys. Zedd here, 20 years old, in college and currently living in malaysia. Started my first big MMO experiance with WoW but always been a fan of the warhammer table top game. 40k and Fantasy. (Space Wolves and Orcs FTW!)

My account for WoW just expired and after reading through as much Data as i can muster on Warhammer decided to save my cash for when that comes out...thus leaving me in despair on what MMO to try out in the meantime (darn).

Decided to join a fansite to see what people were discussing about war, and hopefully have a group of friends ready when WAR comes out!
